Theory Meets Practice —The Student Forum consists of two exciting parts:

1. Presentations – Dive into the Diversity of Surgery
During the presentations, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the various surgical specialties. Young surgeons from the professional associations’ forums will present their specialties and offer valuable insights into training opportunities. Topics such as residency regulations and work-life balance in surgery will also be covered. Here, you’ll learn everything you need to know for your future in surgery!

2. Hands-on Courses – Get Involved!
A limited number of students also have the opportunity to participate in practical hands-on courses . Under the guidance of experienced tutors, you can practice surgical skills in a realistic setting and further develop your manual dexterity.

Application for Hands-On Courses and Travel Expense Grants
To participate in the hands-on courses and the travel and lodging subsidies , you must application is required. You will receive confirmation from us in mid-January.

However, attendance at the lectures is independent of this and is open to all medical students.
