Travel by Public Transportation/Event Ticket from Deutsche Bahn AG

Getting There by Public Transportation

The ICM is directly connected to the Messestadt West subway station on Line U2. From the main train station, you can reach us in just under 20 minutes without having to transfer. The U2 subway line toward Messestadt Ost runs from 4:00 a.m. to approximately 1:00 a.m.; Monday through Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., it runs every 5 minutes directly to the Munich Trade Fair.

Alternatively, you can take the S-Bahn from Munich:

Take S-Bahn Line 2 to the Riem stop
Transfer to bus 190 toward Messestadt Ost
“Am Messesee” stop to get to the West Entrance

Easy and Convenient Charging
Messe München’s electric vehicle charging concept includes 80 charging stations and one supercharger (fast-charging station).

Charging stations in the West Parking Garage: Accessible only when the parking garage is open for an event. The charging stations are located on Level U1.
In general, charging is free (you must pay the parking fee at the parking garage).
The charging station is activated using a card with an RFID chip—such chips are often found in hotel key cards, time-clock cards, and debit cards.
Charging stations cannot be reserved in advance.

Traveling by Air

The Munich Trade Fair Center is located 41 kilometers south of Munich Airport. Public transportation and taxis will take you directly to the ICM.

From Munich Airport, take the S-Bahn station served by lines S1 and S8. S-Bahn trains heading toward the city center run every 10 minutes. The travel time to the exhibition grounds is between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on the route.
